The Scholarship Scheme was introduced by the Jospong Academy with the support of the Executive Chairman in 2021. Its aim is to provide financial support to selected candidates who are employees of JGC, and who wish to further their education. The employees would be pursuing courses that are either aligned to the business strategy as a whole or closely linked to the employee’s area of work.
The Process
During the months of May to June of each year, potential recipients of the scholarship will have the opportunity to make an application for funding, uploading the required documents needed in order for their application to be considered. In August of that same year, the Talent Council will meet to consider and select the final set of applicants who will be awarded the scholarship.
The academic pursuits can range from undergraduate degrees to PhD courses and some short courses.
An employee who would like to be considered for scholarship, will have to upload the following documents in the section indicated on this page
- An admission letter from a recognised institution
- A schedule of the fee breakdown
- Applicant must be employed with the Jospong Group for a minimum of 2 years.
- Applicant must be of good standing.
- Applicant must submit a recommendation from at least one person.
- For PHD applicants, a copy of the intended research proposal should also be submitted.
