The Jospong Group of Companies continues to support healthcare delivery and community wellbeing through investments, partnerships and targeted interventions aimed at improving access to essential services.

The Group’s healthcare-related social investments reflect its broader commitment to improving the lives of people and supporting institutions that provide critical services to communities.

One of the Group’s notable healthcare interventions has been its support for the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.

In 2023, Jospong Group constructed a 300-bed facility named the Joseph Siaw Agyepong Young Soldiers Block at the hospital, providing additional infrastructure to support healthcare delivery.

The Group has also supported healthcare facilities through equipment and financial assistance.

In September 2023, Appointed Time, a subsidiary of Jospong Group, together with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), donated laboratory equipment valued at more than €27,000 to Pentecost Hospital at Madina in the Greater Accra Region.

The equipment was provided in response to the hospital’s need to meet demand from its growing number of patients.

Jospong Group has also extended support to patients facing financial difficulties in accessing treatment.

Following the Group’s 2023 end-of-year thanksgiving service, Executive Chairman Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong pledged more than GH¢500,000 to support dialysis patients at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital who were unable to afford their treatment bills.

The support was intended to be coordinated with the hospital’s dialysis centre to identify patients requiring financial assistance.

These interventions form part of Jospong Group’s broader social responsibility agenda, which recognises healthcare as an important component of community development.

The Group believes that strengthening healthcare infrastructure, supporting medical institutions and helping vulnerable patients access treatment can contribute meaningfully to healthier and more resilient communities.

Jospong Group remains committed to working with healthcare institutions, development partners, government agencies and communities to identify practical areas where private-sector support can complement existing healthcare efforts.

Through these initiatives, the Group continues to pursue its longstanding mission of improving lives and contributing to the social and economic wellbeing of communities.
