The Chief Operating Officer of the Jospong Group of Companies, Dr. Samanjith Udumalaga has commended the employees of Jospong for their hard work and dedication which has pushed the Group forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Udumalagala was speaking at the launch of the 2023 Jospong Employee Month,\u201d an annual event held to celebrate the teeming employees of the conglomerate with over 60 companies. The 2023 event was themed, \u201cImproving the lives of our people.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Udumalagala urged all employees to take advantage of the learning environment of the Group to better themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Guest Speaker for the event, Wing Commander Samuel J. A Allotey urged business leaders to respect their subordinates saying, \u201cDon\u2019t bring people\u2019s spirits down, don\u2019t slow down their hope, don\u2019t make the problem bigger that it is.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Throwing more light on the values of the Jospong Group, Wing Commander Allotey urged business leaders to provide a helping hand to their employees, create a conducive atmosphere, and regulate themselves to avoid disciplinary issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDon\u2019t wait for policies procedures and employee manual before you understand issues, regulate yourself in the workplace.\u201d He said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Wing Commander Allotey who is also a Board member of the Technical Logistics Cluster of the Group also warned of the workplace becoming a hub for polarization. \u201cIt is not about tribe or party, those are transient,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He urged the leadership of the Group to motivate their teams and focus on people issues, saying people issues are key. \u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Wing Commander Allotey said usually companies look out for operations and finance reports leaving people issues unattended to. He said people issues should be part of the main reports in any management review meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a speech read on his behalf, the Executive Chairman, Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong said the theme for this year\u2019s employee month celebration which is \u201cImproving the Lives of our People<\/em>,\u201d comes at a time when the Group is building the capacity of employees both home and abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThis is to help equip employees to play multiple roles or acquire new skills even in a technology advancing world of work which is changing greatly the way organisations must run in order to succeed,\u201d he said adding, \u201cAs a Group we also have the welfare of our people at heart and although we may not have been able to resolve all of our people issues across various subsidiaries, we want you to understand that we have your interests at heart and will do anything to help improve upon the lives of our employees and that of their families. \u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dr. Agyepong also congratulated employees for also always bringing new ideas to the table especially at the Jospong annual leadership conferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Cluster Chief Operating Officers including Mrs. Dora Yeboah Boateng of the Commercial and Allied Services(CAS) and Mr. Haider Said, Executive Director of the Processing Cluster of Environment and Sanitation Group gave solidarity messages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Chief Human Capital of the Jospong Group Mrs. Akwelley Adoley Bulley-Kwaakyi paid glowing tribute to the employees.
