STAFF OF ZOOMLION GHANA LIMITED UNDERGO TRAINING

They studied procedures on ways to Effective Leadership and current trend on the Social Media, its implications for business. In an address, Mrs Florence Larbi, Managing Director of Zoomlion Ghana Limited briefed the participants on the District Autonomy Concept and encouraged them to embrace the new development which is part of the ongoing strategies implemented by the company.

Significance of the Summit Mrs Larbi explained the rational for the National Leadership Summit as a tool to sharpen the skills of the newly up and coming Managers of the various MMDAs.So there was the need to bring Resource Persons from the Academia and Entrepreneurs who have accomplished well in their field of endeavor to share with us their experiences.

Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong, the Executive Chairman of Zoomlion, addressing the gathering, commended the Management and Staff of Zoomlion over the previous year especially 2014. Dr Agyepong quoted the scripture (1 Corinthians 4:2) “It’s required of stewards that a man be found faithful. According to him, a steward is one who holds things in trust for another. And as stewards, one requires Trustfulness, Knowledgeable, and Visionary, Versatile or Multitasked and Fast executor.

He urged the stewards of the Metropolitan’s Municipals and District Assemblies (MMDAs) to positions themselves of the new development of decentralization and advised them to be prepared to expand their knowledge base to create, manage and consolidate whatever they have. In concluding his address, the Executive Chairman stated that growth will take us to our promised land but it depends on how you chart the course and guard the path. Let’s continue to do everything about our work rightly.
